BUILDING

The Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries is still located at: 2406 Mishawaka Ave. South Bend, IN 46615. However, you must enter at the rear of the Building off the Alley. We are there every Thursday from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM for the FREE Food Pantry we have to help the Needy, Destitute and Homeless.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY

CHRISTMAS

Church Lady and Friends in the year of 2010 helped 15,654 Residents in the St. Joseph County area. We provided 745 Children and 323 Adults with Christmas Presents and over 9,200 items were given out to make for a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. This included Food, Toys, Clothing, Coats, Shoes and Socks, Blankets, Toiletries and misc. items.

THANKSGIVING

A truck was rented and filled up with special additional food for Thanksgiving. An additional 335 families showed up at the Food Pantry and received FREE 10 lbs of chicken and 5 lbs of potatoes plus milk, OJ, bread, bakery items and more.

FINAL COUNT - FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN

Over 2,400 families representing 9,200 individuals received FREE Food From the Church Lady and Friends Food Pantry for 2010. The Traveling Soup Kitchen cooked and provided over 4,800 FREE meals. There were 784 new families that found their way to our Food Pantry.

GARMENT ALLEY

We are in the process of setting up a Clothing and Thrift Shop. We are in need of Donations and Shoppers. We will be having a "Stuff A Bag" day and special featured items. The thought is to have it open on Wednesdays at 3 PM - 4 PM. We will be opening soon in 2011. It will be held at 2406 Mishawaka Ave. South Bend, IN 46615

CHURCH

Church is held every Sunday at the Center for the Homeless in South Bend, IN. Every Sunday morning breakfast is prepared by Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries and then Church Services are held.

Additional Church Services are in the planning to be held in other locations in St. Joseph County areas.

NON-DENOMINATIONAL

Remember - Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)3, non-denomination organization. Donations are tax deductible, and we are always in need of volunteers and donations - Food, misc. items -and Monetary.

The Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministry has found a building and will be sharing it with Pastor Edward McCray founder of Mountain Top Faith Apostolic Church.

As of Oct. 1, 2007 we will be located at: 2406 Mishawaka Ave.South Bend, IN 46615

Church Services will be held every Sunday at 11 am starting Oct. 7, 2007. We are in hopes you will stop by and say hello to us on Sundays. Thank you Mary

There will be an Ordination of a new Pastor -John Christy, who has just finished an extensive training with The Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries. The training included the Serving process, Preaching and Evangelistic part of Service and Studying the Word of God.His final preparation is to let The Lord tell him where his Ministry will be, the name of his Ministry, and his Mission statement. Everyone is looking forward to this Ordination, which will take Place in his home Church with Pastor John Christy delivering the Sunday morning Sermon and being Ordained. A Church fellowship dinner will follow.

Back packs were delivered to nineteen children to help them get ready for School. They were filled with extra school supplies to help them. It is always a joy to help children.

The Ministry is growing and there is a new School in the works for grounded Christians that want to be Ordained and just need some guidance and training. The School and Ordination can take as little as one year to accomplish. It will be held locally in the Michiana area.>br />There will be another branch of the School that will Ordain Christians that have had extensive training and already doing “Lay Ministry Work” but need to be Ordained for their Ministry to go and grow.
