2009 - Church Lady and Friends Report July-December 2008
The Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries Food Pantry served almost 300 people per month from July 2008 to December 2008. They provided people with meat, milk, eggs. staples and the necessities to help them get through the hard times that are facing this economy. The organization provided school supplies to 20 families with children. The supplies w included backpacks paper, notebooks, pencils, etc.< /br> The organization had a canned food drive at Allies cafe and a Thanksgiving dinner at The American Legion Post #303 on Mishawaka Avenue River Park. With the help of several volunteers, they Served 157 people a Thanksgiving Dinner and gave them a food basket to take home. They prepared Christmas breakfast at the Center For The Homeless and had Santa pass out gifts for all the residents. The Church Lady and Friends had purchased. During the past year, they, prepared, and served meals to over 4,400 residents at the Center For The Homeless.< /br>Looking back to 2008, The Gospel was preached to hundreds, Bibles and tracts were given out free, prayers were offered up and over 7,500 people were fed and given food.January 2009 to present.< /br>The Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries organization continues to serve at the Center For The Homeless. They have started a Traveling Soup Kitchen and serve between 50-100 people per meal . She continues to serve her food pantry and she serves 60-80 families every month. With the Food Pantry, soup Kitchens, and Center, over 4,000 people have been fed and helped. < /br>< /br>
Overview Update < /br>< /br>As the Church Lady and Friends Outreach Ministries continue to grow, they are asking for your support in prayers, contributions and volunteers. < /br>Everyday in the news, you hear about more and more people being layed off, Companies closing and more doors being shut.< /br>We know that there is one who can open any door, and that is our LORD Jesus Christ.The Church Lady offers hope with Christ, deliverance by Salvation and comfort with helping hands. Any nonperishable foods, monetary donations and other help would be greatly appreciated. < /br>The donations are tax deductible, since this Organization is a non-profit 501(c)3.
